COMMERCIAL EXHAUST
CLEANING
Our Commercial Exhaust Cleaning Services include:
KITCHEN
EXHAUST / VENTILATION CLEANING
The
majority of restaurant fires originate on the kitchen cooking appliances
and flare into the kitchen exhaust system. Regular maintenance of a
facilities kitchen exhaust system is one of the best defenses against
fire hazards. By keeping these systems working at their best, they will
evacuate the smoke and grease out of the building and produce a cleaner,
cooler kitchen and better working environment for staff.

According
to National Fire Protection Association Standard 96, kitchen exhaust
systems should be inspected by a properly trained, qualified and
certified company or individual. NFPA 96 has established minimum
frequencies for the inspection of systems, but based on the type or
volume of cooking the inspections may be required more often. While a
low-volume cooking establishment should be inspected annually,
high-volume operations such as fast food or charbroiling cooking
operations may require monthly, or even weekly inspections. If the
system is found to be contaminated the entire exhaust system should be
cleaned.
BEFORE AFTER
Benefits of regularly performed profession kitchen exhaust cleaning:
-
Reduced risk of kitchen fires
-
Enhanced working environment for kitchen staff
-
Improved ventilation for smoke and odor removal
-
Lower insurance premiums offered by some
insurance companies
-
Compliance with local and national fire and
health codes
When
contracting for cleaning services, it is important to ensure you get a
complete cleaning of your entire system. Some contractors offer a "hood
cleaning" service which does not include the ductwork or rooftop fan.
While such services may keep the interior of the kitchen looking sharp,
they do little to secure fire safety and reduce health threats. Only a
complete cleaning of the system-from the hood in the kitchen to the fan
on the roof-will reduce the risk of kitchen fires and ensure compliance
with fire regulations.
The Air
Maintenance kitchen exhaust cleaning program provides:
-
A flexible schedule to work around your needs.
The work can be completed after you close, or scheduled around your
slow periods to provide the least interruption to your business
-
Our scheduling system is automatic. When your
system is due to be cleaned WE call you. No need to keep track of
your last cleaning-that’s part of our service!
-
Our cleaning includes your hood, the hood
filters, the system ductwork and the exhaust fan. That is the
Entire system, not just a “hood cleaning.”
-
Our staff covers and moves all of your equipment
to keep any debris from contaminating a clean cooking surface.
-
We change your drive belt and lubricate shaft and
motor bearings with each service as applicable.
-
Our crews take before and after photos of each
job. These can be provided at your request.
-
Our crews will pressure wash the fan, filters and
duct system (if sealed) while they hand wash the hood. This allows
us to thoroughly clean every aspect of your system and inspect it
for any damage.
-
Crews will notify the customers of any major
damage evident in their system including any issues with the fire
suppression system. An accidental discharge of a fire suppression
system can cost a business thousands of dollars in clean up and lost
business. Early notification can help prevent that.
-
Once the system is cleaned and inspected, our
crews place a service sticker on your hood with the date of service
and company contact info. This helps you identify compliance during
fire and health inspections!

GREASE
CATCHER INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE
Which
picture best represents your roof?
If you say
the before picture, then
you can benefit from our grease catcher maintenance program.
Our grease catchers serve two main purposes; to keep dripping and
exhausting grease off your roof, and to provide an appropriate area for
your kitchen exhaust cleaning company to properly clean the exhaust
fans. We install the box around each of your kitchen exhaust fans in a
manner to best suit both of these needs. Once built our staff will
return twice each year to replace the soiled materials and repair the
grease catcher as needed. Keeping the grease off your roof will
increase the life of the roof and help avoid any fire and health code
violations.
